This is a part-time, temporary Cook County Community Center position that will run from mid-December 2015 though mid-March 2016, weather depending. The attendant may also help with making ice if help is needed.
We are looking for someone who likes youth, likes to skate, is able to shovel snow and scrape ice. This person needs to be responsible, show up for work on time, and be self-motivated.
Hours will vary: Open ice skating is Wednesday and Friday evenings from 3:15 p.m. until 7:15 p.m.; Saturdays and days kids are off from school 10:45 a.m. until 7:15 p.m.; and Sundays 12:45 p.m. until 4:45 p.m.
Wages are dependent upon experience and flexibility of scheduling times.

Needed: Volunteer who has knowledge of fabrics to measure and price material at Oddz&Endz. Hours go toward the local non-profit of your choice.
We also need someone with quilting expertise to help us organize a community project. Do you know of anyone who may have a quilting frame that we can borrow in January?

The YMCA is seeking to add lifeguards to our team. Benefits of lifeguarding at the Y include free membership, flexible hours, and competitive pay. Shifts available are mornings 6-9am and 9am-1pm, nights 4-8pm, and weekends. Great way to pick up a few extra hours and get a free membership!

This is a volunteer position coaching the 4th-6th grade boys basketball program that is run through community education. Practices are generally twice a week from 3:30-4:30pm with games on Saturday morning. This is a great opportunity for someone to volunteer with our Cook County youth!
