Chateau LeVeaux Live-in Position Open

Chateau LeVeaux in Tofte is currently seeking a mature couple (preferably) to live on-site in manager unit at resort (31 condos and three hotel suites) to provide services that include (not limited to):

  1. Providing limited guest services in-house for rental business outsourced to local company
  1. Front desk services a few hours a day
  2. Sell firewood, ice, pizza, etc
  3. Respond to guest emergency needs
  4. Knowledge of local area desirable
  1. Opening and closing of indoor pool (pool school certification course paid for)
  2. Cleaning of  Common Areas of interior and exterior (.i.e. pool, lobby, hallways, patios/balconies, grounds litter pick-up)
  3. Cleaning of  condo/hotel suite occasionally as needed
  4. Re-stocking supplies from laundry service, tracking and ordering cleaning and guest supplies as needed
  5. Doing general, basic maintenance as needed
  6. Monitoring equipment alarms and building systems
  7. Providing overnight security
  8. Interacting with Board of Directors on a regular basis
  9. Assisting Board with locating professional vendors and workers as needed

Two-level Lake Superior two-bedroom condo with balcony; W/D, stove and refrigerator provided.  Availability no later than Feb 15, 2016.  Salary negotiable and depends on experience.

Work 12:00pm - 8:00 pm

Operate laundry equipment (washing machine, dryer, etc.).
Organize, sort and fold laundry.
Deliver linens to guests and Housekeeping Teams

Valid Driver’s License

The Laundry attendant must be punctual, have a positive attitude, a constant willingness to assist others, and work well with a team. The attendant must be able to work evenings along with weekends and weekdays.

Assist with some guest services activities when needed

Child Care Provider - Part Time Birch Grove Community School

Birch Grove Community School, a small and intimate elementary school located on the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior in Tofte, Minnesota is currently looking for a highly motivated Birch Buddies Teacher (school year Sept-June).

Part-time Hourly:  Child care provider Mon-Fri 3:15-5 with potential for growth or additional responsibilities.

Requirements:

At least two years of higher education (preferred)
Experience working with children ages 3-10
A high level of energy that is focused on student growth
The ability to interact positively with students, parents, staff and the community
