Maintenance Technician

Caribou Highlands Lodge & Resort in Lutsen, MN is currently hiring for the position of Maintenance Technician.
The person we are seeking would be highly motivated and enjoys a fast paced resort setting.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Maintain all resort grounds and landscaping including mowing, raking, blowing, and watering of landscape materials.
Perform general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and minor construction while working within assigned budget.
Perform a wide variety of skilled and semiskilled maintenance activities (e.g. lighting, electrical, alarms, plumbing, security, painting, general carpentry, etc.).
Assist maintenance team with projects; ensure projects are completed in a safe, efficient manner.
Take and respond to guest calls and requests; work to resolve any issues in a timely, efficient manner.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license

Maintenance Person

Oshki Ogimaag Charter School
Position:              School Maintenance and Custodial Professional
Salary:                   $12/hour
Hours:                   6am-8am and 2pm-5pm M-F August-June  (Hours could be flexible depending upon qualifications)

 

General Schedule-During the school year
6AM to 8 AM; 2PM to 5PM
A majority of the cleaning should be completed in the PM hours. Morning duties include spot cleaning, as needed items, temperature checks, minor repairs, office and utility room cleaning, and snow removal when necessary.

Summer hours are flexible as cleared through the Administration.

Qualifications
Qualified candidate will have at least one year of experience in maintenance, cleaning, and care of a facility. Must have basic maintenance knowledge and organizational skills in order to maintain inventory of custodial and building supplies. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must have the ability to work independently. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, squat, kneel, reach above and head, reach forward, bend, and twist. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
