Wendy is looking for help in cleaning/organizing her house through out the summer while she recovers from surgery. She lives in Lutsen. I believe she is looking for help once a week or every other week for 3-4 hours. The times are pretty flexible though afternoons work better than mornings.

2014 Summer Kids Camp Counselor

Provide safe and fun atmosphere where children ages 4 and up have an opportunity to make new friends, socialize, learn new activity and life skills, and enjoy being in the outdoors.
Must have reached the age of 18, have a valid driver’s license, and have a high school diploma or GED.
Experience working with children of all ages.
Must have enthusiasm, patience, creativity, common sense and a commitment to work with children and ability to build relationships with people.
Able to accompany campers to main program areas , lead small and large group activities, supervise campers’ participation in structure and unstructured activities, demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of campers served, interact appropriately with campers and staff in all types of situations, appropriately model behavior and use of positive behavior management techniques.
Must have or become certified in First Aid/CPR and lifeguarding prior to the start of camp

Carpenter Job Description:
Under minimal supervision perform carpentry work in the design, construction, repair and maintenance of structures and related physical facilities; perform related work as required.
Job position is responsible for the full range of rough and finished skilled carpentry work, including cabinetry. Incumbents work from blueprints, specifications, drawings and instructions to design, build, remodel, retrofit, maintain and repair various types of facilities and structures; inspect completed work for conformance with specifications. Design, build, install, and repair structural woodwork, flooring, ceilings and cabinetry; operate, maintain, and calibrate hand and power carpentry tools; recognize and select appropriate lumber types and grades; make rough sketches; perform heavy physical labor; follow and give oral and written instructions; maintain cooperative working relationships. Knowledge of residential construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and safety. Proficient at the following tasks: stain-grade trim work, hang doors, drill and set door hardware, set windows, layout for stairs and common rafters and utilize appropriate math skills. Able to organize assigned tasks, for completion alone or with help. Able to complete and fulfill paperwork required for personal time sheets in a timely manner.

Painter Job Description:
Under minimal supervision, perform job duties in the painting, staining, finishing, and maintaining of a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures; may direct the work of other classified staff in the area; and perform related work as required.
The Painter prepares surfaces for painting, staining, and finishing; applies undercoats and finish coats using the full range of application methods and materials; mixes and matches paints and finishes; Knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, and tools used in painting trade. Knowledge of and ability to mix paint to match colors; advises in the storage of painting materials. Ability to work independently: ability to use a computerized maintenance management system for work order processing. Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed to complete projects.
Two years experience as a painter in a residential or in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting, both interior and exterior,
Valid Minnesota Drivers license
Hourly pay rate based on experience. Project bonuses possible and paid personal days off after completion of introduction period of employment.
