Teacher will write individual education plans.

General Schedule-During the school year

A majority of the cleaning should be completed when students are not in the building.

Summer hours are flexible as cleared through the Administration.

Qualifications
Qualified candidate will have at least one year of experience in maintenance, cleaning, and care of a facility. Must have basic maintenance knowledge and organizational skills in order to maintain inventory of custodial and building supplies. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must have the ability to work independently. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, squat, kneel, reach above and head, reach forward, bend, and twist. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Administrative Assistant               Oshki Ogimaag Charter School

The administrative assistant will serve as the primary contact for the students, faculty and visitors to the school.  This position provides some financial reporting and reporting to MDE.  The Administrative Assistant has the following professional characteristics and skills:  problem solving, concern with fiscal solvency of the school, continuous reflective thought, sound judgement, responsiveness to financial needs of the school, recognition that educating children is a complex process. 

 

Responsibilities:

*Create a welcoming calm, supportive, helpful atmosphere for parents, visitors, vendors, students and staff.

*Enter new students’ data into the system, collecting and maintaining current student records, sending and receiving record requests.

*Submit state reports such as MARSS, ADM/LEP, STAR, Transportation.

*Generate daily attendance, tardy data.

*Prepare and send out monthly lunch bills and enter lunch counts into CLiCs

*Assists with human resource functions

*Open and date bills then forward to Director for signatures, send bills to cmERDC, maintain accurate files of bills, prepare checks for deposit.

*Forward payroll information to cmERDC twice a month.

 

Qualifications:

*Has an effective communication style with parents, students and coworkers

*Possesses a calm demeanor and the ability to work in a busy environment

*Has strong work ethic

*Is organized and has an attention to detail

*Shows proficiency with office equipment and software (i.e. fax machine, copier, Excel, Word)
