Cook County PHHS Office Support Specialist/Case Aid

Office Support Specialist/Case Aid.  Provides office support and performs Case Aid duties in the Cook County Public Health/Human Services Dept.    Requirements: 3 yrs. clerical and/or customer service experience; or 2 yrs. clerical experience in a human services agency; or 2 yrs. college study in behavioral sciences or closely-related field.  Salary range:  $13.29 (step 1) through $16.37 (step 15) plus some pro-rated county benefits, but not health insurance.  Work schedule: 16 hours/week from 8:00-5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays for approximately 9 months.  Position may possibly continue or be expanded after that period of time.  If not, employee will be laid off and placed on a re-employment list for future Office Support/Case Aid openings.   Candidates must contact the MN Dept. of Human Services Merit System, PO Box 64997, St.

Summer Positions Available

The Pie Place is now hiring for the following positions.  If you are looking for variety, combine two of them and create a great summer for yourself!

1.  Evening Food Runner--support wait staff by delivering food, preparing drinks, clearing and setting tables, seating new customers.

2.  Daytime Dishwasher Sundays.

3.  Evening Grill Chef--work grilling our ribs, steaks, kabobs, chicken.  Want to learn how to make delicious grilled food?  Other tasks included as needed.

4.  Pie Baker or back-up baking prep.  Depending on skills, position is flexible hours and can work independently.  Pie Baker position is in the afternoons and evenings during restaurant hours.  Part or full time.

5.  Bread baker on Mondays and one to two evenings per week.
