August 13th: "Royal Family Feuds"

On Wednesday, September 7, 2016, the fourth annual Tea at the Naniboujou Lodge will be sponsored by Cook County Higher Education.  Each Tea has featured Dr. Karen I. Halbersleben leading attendees through an exploration of interesting aspects of English Royal history since the Norman Conquest of 1066.

If you missed any of Karen's three previous speeches and would like to hear what you missed, or if you enjoyed any of the speeches so much that you'd like to hear it again, here is your chance!  Karen will reprise one speech every month this summer, leading up to this year's Tea on September 7th.

August 13th: "Royal Family Feuds" reviews the sometimes appalling relationships among members of English Royal families that have plagued every ruling dynasty for eleven centuries now.  Will the 21st century Windsors escape this sad legacy? Presentation starts at 6:30pm

The presentations lasts approximately 40 minutes and will be followed by Q and A.

Donations of $10 are appreciated. These funds will go to support the work of Cook County Higher Education.
