In this session I will teach strategies for translating existing hard copy organizational systems into digital tools. For instance, creating file folders in drawers can be costly, inefficient, and space consuming--if all the materials are already available online. We will explore a few free digital tools that make daily work with online materials more efficient and constructive. This session will be useful for anyone who uses online tools regularly as part of her work.

Instructor: Dr. Siri Anderson directs the online graduate education programs at St .Catherine University. Though she would rather be sailing with David Suchy on their SoGnar sailboat in Grand Marais Harbor, she is enjoying a new opportunity to empower young women in engineering and computer science related fields with a recent National Science Foundation grant she is working on in collaboration with Twin Cities Public Television and the SciGirls Team.

St. Kates offers an online graduate education in the following areas:

--MAED: Curriculum and Instruction

--MAED: Technology Integration

--RN-BS degree (for associate degree nurses that want a bachelor degree)

--Occupational Therapy Doctorate

--MA in Interpreting for ASL interpreters who want to complete a masters)
