We are using this time to complete the following needed repairs all at once: replace broken tiles, replace broken grates on the pool edge, and install new UV system bulbs.

The hot tub and sauna will still be open to members and visitors on Wednesday, August 5th from 4:00 pm-7:45 pm and Thursday, August 6th from 6:00 am-1:00 pm. The hot tub is open to ages 12 and older and the sauna is open to ages 16 and older.

NSMA's Turning 30! Eat Cake & Groove to R.L. Bush & Rev. Sons

EAT CAKE! To celebrate the North Shore Music Association's 30th birthday: three decades of hosting great musical performances, dances, and educational programs for people of all ages in Cook County. From folk icons Peter Yarrow and Leo Kottke, to renowned blues artists Guy Davis and Shemekia Copeland, Grammy-winning classical Parker Quartet, Zydeco king C.J. Chenier, West African drumming and dance classes with Titambe Ensemble, and our 25-year-old annual Bluegrass Masters Weekend, NSMA always strives to bring you the best eclectic musical fare possible.

So BOOGIE DOWN! In your seat, or on the dance floor — to one of the best African American gospel groups on the circuit today, REV. R.L. BUSH & THE REVIVED SONS, coming from NY and GA to help us celebrate.

SAT. AUGUST 22 - 7:30 PM

Arrowhead Center for the Arts (51 W. 5th St. Grand Marais)

Tickets: $15 adults, $5 youth (18 & under). General seating. For sale in advance (no fees) at http://www.tix.com (search "Arrowhead Center for the Arts"), or at door.

ABOUT THE BAND

Rev. R.L. Bush was born into a legacy of great gospel music. His grandfather, Louis Johnson, was one of the longtime lead singers for THE SWAN SILVERTONES, one of the greatest gospel quartets of all time. Watching and learning from his grandfather, Rev. Bush grew into a one-man powerhouse of gospel music.
