The Silver Bay PeeWee B Mariners are headed into 2013 with a respectable record of 12-2. The PeeWee B team is composed of 14 players; 7 from Grand Marais and 7 from Silver Bay. On December 30^th, the team played Proctor at the Rukavina Arena in Silver Bay. The game started off uneventful, but the Mariners quickly took off playing a fine game with a final score of 6-2. The Mariners have participated in two tournaments to date. Both have yielded trophies for the kids. The first tournament of the year was held in Richfield and brought home a 3^rd place trophy. The team held a home tournament the weekend of December 15^th and 16^th. The boys worked hard and earned themselves the first place trophy. The next game is scheduled for January 3^rd in Silver Bay against Superior and tournament will be held in Two Harbors on January 5^th and 6^th.
