It's an inverse year! Skiing near the lake is better than out at deeryard since the lake trails have a firmer base and are holding their snow very well relative to the temperatures.  Please see www.norpinetrails.org for a detailed report.

All Norpine trails are now open and skiing from fair to excellent.  Best skiing is inland, near the lake is good but not as good as inland.  Short loop is closed due to very heavy snow in that area.  DYL, Pioneer, Ridge Run, Lookout Mountain, Hall/Massie loops and all connectors are groomed packed powder and ready to enjoy.  See www.norpinetrails.org for detailed report.

Much of the system is now open.  See www.norpinetrails.org for updated and latest ski trail conditions.  Norpine board members helped us get a lot of downfall out of the way so our groomers could get throught the system.  Main loops are opened up with smaller loops still waiting for clean up.  The ice storm created conditions that were very difficult to manage so take it slow!
