Conditions near the lake are poor and will be icy. Reverse tilling at Deeryard has created some really great conditions on Main loop and fair conditions on Short loop.

Comment:

Pioneer, Ridge Run, Lookout, Deeryard, SHort Loop and all connectors were all groomed last night with out Pisten Bully. Hall/Massie, connector to Cascade all groomed yesterday with our Kubota. WIll be grooming connector to Lutsen Ski hill early AM on Sunday.

Icy base with 2-5 inches of snow on top.

Comment:

We have received from 5-9 inches of very light snow. We were able to groom out Deeryard Lake and Pioneer loops and roll out Hall/Massie, Whitesides and Deertrack but today the extreme cold is preventing us from further progress. Please check www.norpinetrails.org for the latest grooming report/conditions.
