Jim McGowan’s lifelong love of folk music began when he discovered his parents’ college albums, which included the Chad Mitchell Trio, Kingston Trio, Brothers Four, and Peter, Paul & Mary. Their ability to simultaneously entertain and promote a social conscience resonated with Jim, and became key in his choice of music.
