3rd Annual Storytelling Dinner
Adolph Ojard is our guest speaker for this year's event!
Adolph is the executive director of the Duluth Seaway Port Authority.
He is a native of Knife River and the grandson of two fishing families;the Torgersens and the Ojards. Adolph's mother, Marion, grew up on Isle Royale at Washington Harbor. His father was a ship's officer during WWII and Captain of the tugboat "Edna G." in Two Harbors. Adolph will provide us with a perspective of commercial fishing in the Knife River area during the 50's and 60's as well as a peak at the future. Cost is $50 per person.
This is the main fundraising event for the North Shore Commercial Fishing Museum each year.
