Going Green

Many folks prefer to use recycled or eco-friendly materials in their construction projects. 1010 Interiors offers a plethora of “green” products.

“We have carpets made of recycled plastic, recycled carpet, and corn,” LeAnn says. “We also have recycled glass tiles.”

The store carries cabinetry made from fast growing fibers such as bamboo and eucalyptus, as well as recycled wood products. Another interesting product is Paperstone, which is a countertop made from recycled beer cases. The advantages of green products go beyond environmental benefits.

“Some folks with allergies don’t want petroleum-based products, because they emit noxious fumes,” LeAnn explains. “For them, our green products are a healthy alternative.”
