A strong storm will bring heavy rain and strong to severe storms today into tonight. The highest threat for a severe storm is over northwest Wisconsin with the highest threat for heavy rain over far northwest Wisconsin into central and northern Minnesota.

Heavy rain with thunderstorms is expected to spread into the area from the south today and continue tonight, departing Wednesday. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect. Widespread rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3+ inches are possible.
