Sunny skies in store for today. Northeast winds off of Lake Superior will keep temperatures nearer to the Lake about 10 degrees cooler than farther inland. Expect a gradual warming trend Friday into this weekend, with periodic rain and thunderstorm chances returning. A few storms Friday afternoon into mid evening could be strong, with small hail and localized gusty winds.

A Frost Advisory continues in the Arrowhead through early this morning due to lows in the 30s. Even colder temperatures are expected late this evening and tonight, with a Freeze Watch for northwest Wisconsin. A Frost Advisory will likely be needed for east-central Minnesota and the Arrowhead, as well.
