Most locations will be dry today with mostly sunny skies, but showers will be possible in far north-central Minnesota. Additional chances for showers arrive tonight into Saturday, with a solid day of sunshine expected on Sunday. Rain chances return for early next week with thunderstorm chances on Tuesday. Warmer temps are expected early next week, with widespread highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Areas of Dense Fog have formed early this morning. The fog is currently affecting areas around the Twin Ports and the Interstate 35 corridor, parts of the North Shore and the nearshore waters of Lake Superior, and will reduce visibilities to a quarter mile or less at times. Visibilities in the fog should improve by 8 AM this morning.
