  First and Second Thrift Store will be closed on Tuesday, March 26. 
  
  
• Grand Portage Tribal Programs and Offices
  With the continued no-travel advisory and the closing of local schools, all Grand Portage Tribal Programs and Offices will be closed today Tuesday March 26th. 
  
  
• Superior National Forest District Offices Tofte, Gunflint and Laurentian
  The Gunflint, Tofte, and Laurentian Ranger District Offices are closed again today, Tuesday, March 26, 2024, due to the winter storm. Please drive safely if you have to do any travel.
  
  
• Cook County YMCA
  The YMCA is closing at 9:00 am for the rest of the day. All programs, childcare, and classes are canceled.
  
  
• Violence Prevention Center
  The VPC office is closed today due to the weather. Support services are still available over the phone. 
  
  
• Grand Marais Public Library

  The Hub will be closed on Tuesday and there will be no meals for dine-in, take-out, or delivery. There will be no written or road tests today at the Hub, per the State of Minnesota.

  Due to dangerous travel conditions, Cook County Schools will be closed on Tuesday, March 26th.  All school activities are canceled and the offices are closed.   
  
  
• Oshki Ogimaag Community School
  Due to weather conditions, Oshki Ogimaag Community School will be closed on Tuesday, March 26. 
  
  
• Great Expectations School
  Due to the weather conditions travel is not advised today.  There will be NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, March 26.  Stay warm and safe!
  
  
• Tofte Transfer Station 
  Due to staffing and weather the Tofte Transfer Station will be closed for operations on Tuesday,  March 26th.

• Cook County Schools
  UPDATED: SEE ABOVE - Due to predicted dangerous travel conditions tomorrow morning, Cook County Schools will start two hours late on Tuesday, March 26th.  School bus pick-up times will be two hours after regular pick up times, and there will not be any breakfast served.  We will evaluate travel conditions again in the morning so please watch for possible morning messages.  

• Great Expectations School 
  UPDATED: SEE ABOVE - At this time, we are having a 2 hour late start on Tuesday, March 26.  Final decisions will be made by 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
  
  
• Drury Lane Full Moon Reading Event Cancelled
  The Full Moon Reading event at Drury Lane on March 25 has been cancelled. As of right now, the store is open regular hours on the 25th.

  The Gunflint and Tofte Ranger District Offices are closed today, Monday, March 25.
  
  
• Arrowhead Transit Bus
  Arrowhead Transit Bus is not running March 25 for the Tofte, Grand Portage runs, or in Grand Marais.

  Due to the ongoing blizzard and unsafe travel conditions, Cook County offices will be closed today, Monday, March 25.  The Recycling Center will also be closed today.

• Grand Portage Tribal Offices and Tribal Programs 
  Due to the incoming weather and the closure of local schools, all Grand Portage Tribal Offices and Tribal Programs will be closed on March 25th. The lodge, casino, and trading post will remain open at this time. 
  
  
• Grand Marais Bone Builders
  Grand Marais Bone Builders at The Hub, is cancelled for Monday, March 25, 2024, due to the weather. 
  
  
• First and Seconds Thrift Store
  First and Seconds Thrift Store will be closed on Monday, March 24. 
  
  
• Cook County YMCA
  
  The YMCA facility will have a delayed opening on Monday at 9:00 am. 
  
  
  Group exercise classes will be canceled through 1:00 pm. The afterschool program is canceled and the childcare center is closed. An update will be added to this post by 1:00 pm regarding evening classes and dance programs.
  
  
• Cook County ISD 166 Schools
  Due to predicted blizzard conditions, Cook County Schools will be closed on Monday, March 25th.  All school activities are canceled and the offices will be closed.

• Johnson Heritage Post & Art Gallery
  Winter Plein Air Art Exhibit CLOSING ONE DAY EARLY:
  Due to the winter storm in the forecast, our current exhibit Winter Plein Air will be closing on Friday, March 23 (instead of March 24) to afford artists enough daylight to safely travel home. Pop in to get a good look while there’s still time! At this point, the Art Gallery will still maintain regular business hours, Wednesday - Sunday, 10 am - 4 pm.
