***March 20 update: NWS predicts 80% chance of 6"+ of snow Sunday - Tuesday of next week for most of Cook County***

Well, March came in like a lamb, and many of us are ready for spring, so it feels appropriate that we may receive measurable snow starting on Sunday. The National Weather Service - Duluth issued a statement this morning stating that the storm will likely arrive on Sunday and last through early next week. While it's only Tuesday, it is expected that things will change, however, "Probabilities for 6 inches of snow or greater for the Northland generally range from 50 to 75 percent." Where that snow track will land is still up in the air. Literally.

The National Weather Service - Duluth also recommends keeping travel plans fluid, as "hazardous travel conditions are likely due to this system also being accompanied by gusty winds."

The next update will come on Wednesday morning.
