Take home some not-quite-perfect pottery and other "seconds" from local artists in exchange for your donation in any amount! All proceeds will benefit Care Partners' work to support community members on the journey of aging and end-of-life. Cook County's End of Life Doulas invite you to join them for an interactive presentation that goes beyond the nuts and bolts of wills and caskets and discusses the importance of thinking about what YOU want your last days to be like. According to the US Office for the Victims of Crime, fraud and scams aimed at older adults resulted in losses of more than $184 million in 2018. Many crimes go unreported because victims are scared, embarrassed, or don’t know who to call. March is Fraud Prevention Month, and our friends at AARP will be on hand to help us learn to proactively spot scams, and know what to do if we think we (or someone we know) may have been targeted. We're happy to participate in the 3rd Annual Cook County Earth Day Fair! The day will include a series of speakers, interactive booths, games, and local food + goods!  Stop by the Care Partners booth where we'll gather environmental wisdom from those who have been hanging out on this planet for - ahem - more than a few turns around the sun.
