Cook County Local Energy Project (CCLEP) announced that Executive Director Kat Meyo recently resigned from the organization to pursue other career and personal opportunities. The CCLEP Board commends Kat for her leadership and for the numerous positive contributions she has made to CCLEP and to the Cook County community over the past two years. 

The Board also announced that Chris O’Brien (Board President) is appointed to serve as Interim Executive Director for CCLEP during this transition period while the Board explores potential funding to support the long term sustainability of the organization including the recruitment of a new Executive Director. Other CCLEP Board members will be managing key CCLEP events and activities including the upcoming Earth Day Fair, scheduled for April 20.
