The Grand Portage Food Sovereignty Committee hosts Traditional Natural Foods of the Anishinaabe People on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Log Cabin Building in Grand Portage (58 Upper Road, Grand Portage). A virtual option via Zoom will also be available (scan the QR code on the image).
Attendees will learn about the history of food and sustainability through teachings and traditional stories through Anishinaabe Language and Culture.
The event will begin at 5:30 pm. Attendees in-person are asked to bring a dish to share. Waabooz-naboob (rabbit stew) will be served.
