Becoming an election judge is a great way to participate in the democratic process and ensure safe, secure elections!

Election judges:

• must be eligible to vote in Minnesota, and able to read, write and speak English  

• are compensated for their time and mileage, or can choose to volunteer

• must take required training prior to serving – 3 hours in length, offered online

• Students 16 and 17 years old can be election judge trainees
