On January 17, 2024, at approximately 8:20 PM members of the Lake Superior Violent Offenders Task Force and St. Louis Co Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 4931 1/2 1st Ave. in the City of Hibbing.

During the execution of the search warrant, two individuals were arrested for various drug charges and child endangerment after one pound of methamphetamine was located in a vehicle. Additional searches yielded cocaine, suspected fentanyl pills, and marijuana.

The two individuals were lodged at the St. Louis County jail in Hibbing and are pending arraignment on 1/19/24.
