Arrowhead Cooperative collecting new & handmade warm winter accessories with annual "Mitten Tree" through December 15

Each year, Arrowhead Cooperative hosts a "Mitten Tree" during December to collect new and handmade (non-used) warm winter accessories, including hats, scarves, and gloves or mittens.
Donations are accepted at Arrowhead Cooperative (5401 West Highway 61, Lutsen), Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm. In addition to warm winter accessories, gift cards to local grocery stores are also being collected.
According to Sara McManus, Member Services Manager at Arrowhead Cooperative, "The winter gear and gift cards are then given to Operation Family Christmas to distribute with the Christmas gifts. We are very grateful to partner with them to get these items into the community."
The deadline to donate winter accessories or grocery store gift cards is 4 pm on Friday, December 15.
