WALKING THE NEW ROAD: Join Cook County community members on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 11 a.m., for a gratitude walk up and down 5th Avenue West in Grand Marais, which officially opens Friday, October 27 in the evening.
The group will meet at the bottom of 5th Avenue West at the Highway 61 intersection, near the North House Folk School Green Building.
The community walk aims to thank all the planners, workers, and detour-tolerant neighbors; come celebrate this historic road with fellow travelers in road repair and renewal!
Rain or shine! All are welcome!
