Superior National Forest to offer office open houses to learn about ongoing and future projects, employment opportunities, and meet staff

From Superior National Forest - October 18, 2023

The USDA Forest Service, Superior National Forest, and Forest Supervisor Tom Hall invite the public, businesses, Tribes, organizations, and partners to attend any, or all, of the upcoming five Open Houses across the Forest now through February 2024. 

Attendees will meet staff, learn about career opportunities, and engage with project and program managers on current and upcoming forest projects. 

Hall and each District Ranger will host the Open Houses in the following districts [1]]

See each office for specific dates and times: 

  • October 24 @ the Laurentian District Office, 318 Forestry Road, Aurora, 218/ 453-8650. Hosted locally by District Ranger, Adam Cochran, and Forest Supervisor Hall, from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
  • November 9 @ the Supervisor’s Office, 8901 Grand Avenue Place, Duluth, 218/ 626-4300. Hosted locally by Forest Supervisor, Tom Hall & Detailed Deputy Forest Supervisor, Roderquita Moore, from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
  • December 5 @ the LaCroix District Office, 320 N. Highway 53, Cook, 218/ 666-0020. Hosted locally by District Ranger, Sunny Lucas, and Forest Supervisor Hall, from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
  • December 7 @ the Kawishiwi District Office, 1393 Highway 168, Ely, 218/ 365-7600. Hosted locally by District Ranger, Aaron Kania, and Forest Supervisor Hall, from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
  • 2024 Date TBD @ the Tofte District Office, 7655 W. Highway 61, Tofte, 218/ 663-8060. Hosted locally by District Ranger, Ellen Bogardus-Szymaniak and Forest Supervisor Hall. More information will be coming soon.
