From Visit Cook County - October 13, 2023

Visit Cook County is once again partnering with Lutsong Productions to bring a Murder Mystery Weekend to Cook County November 9-11, 2023. Glensheen -  The Cabaret! returns to Cook County for two performances along with two murder mystery dinners hosted by Bluefin Bay and Caribou Highlands.

In 2022, the Glensheen-The Cabaret!, an adaptation of the critically acclaimed musical, made its world premiere on the Papa Charlie’s stage. Despite the loss of the Papa Charlie’s venue this year, arrangements have been made to host this year’s performance at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts in Grand Marais.

“We wanted to build upon the success of last year’s event by welcoming back the cast of Glensheen-The Cabaret! and adding two new dinner theater experiences to the line-up ,” said Linda Jurek, Executive Director of Visit Cook County.

The murder mystery dinners are interactive dinner theater performances hosted by Twin Cities based Mystery Cafe. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal, be assigned characters and share in the development and storytelling of this performance.
