The Seedling Price List has been posted on the State Forest Nursery website, so you can start planning your spring seedling order. We anticipate taking seedling orders on October 25, 2023. We will send out an email when sales are officially open. This year we have roughly 3 million seedlings and are happy to announce the addition of 4-year-old conifers which are ideal seedlings for marginal sites as they have stronger roots. Unfortunately due to increased costs of production, we had to increase the prices of our seedlings but are still at a competitive rate when compared to other nurseries in Minnesota. You can make $20 to $150 per bushel, depending on the specific tree species. We are currently in critical need of black spruce which pays $100/bushel!
