Over 8,000 runners sign-up for Grandma's Marathon on first day of open registration

Registration for the ever-popular Grandma's Marathon in Duluth opened on October 1, 2023. By that evening, race officials took to social media to share that 8500 people had registered for the marathon, and the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon was already half-full at 5,000 registrations (capacity is set at 8,000).
The 2024 Grandma's Marathon and Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, June 22.
