Grand Portage National Monument is excited to welcome the award-winning basket maker and artist Kelly Church for a class on birch bark biting on Friday, September 15, at 3pm. 

Kelly is a fifth-generation Potawatomi/Odawa/Ojibwe basket maker and educator from southwestern Michigan, and a National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Fellow, along with many other honors. 

Join us to learn at the Heritage Center Classroom (170 Mile Creek Rd, Grand Portage, MN 55605) about birch bark biting and complete a small project.

No registration is required. All supplies and materials are provided. No charge.
