This week, Ulland Bros. will be completing water and sewer service connections from 3rd St. to 5th St. If those operations are complete before the end of the week, Ulland will drop back to 3rd St. to begin storm sewer installation from 3rd St. to 5th St.
On Monday, 9/18, Ulland plans to begin the roadway’s 3’ subcut at 2nd St. working northward. This 3’ excavation of the entire roadway will remove existing, less consistent road base material and replace it with new, more consistently graded material for a stronger road base. This operation will likely cut off access to the Courthouse Parking Lot on Monday 9/18 and Tuesday 9/19.
Following the subcutting operation, concrete crews will return to site to start hard surfacing from 2nd St. working north, tentatively the week of 9/25.
