Authorities say the triple death at a resort in Crow Wing County earlier this week was the result of a murder-suicide.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office says Michael Charles Toner, 59, is suspected of fatally shooting his partner Melanie Jansen, 54, and her 29-year-old daughter Hannah Nicole Parmenter, 29, before taking his own life.

Toner and Jansen both lived in Maple Grove, while Parmenter is from Elk River.
