North Shore Health and Sawtooth Mountain Clinic would like to ask drivers to please not use their parking lot as a through-way to get around the closed 5th Ave West - 5th Street intersection.

The Hospital and Clinic entrances must remain open so that patients, employees and ambulances can access the facilities. Currently, many drivers who are not doing business with the hospital or clinic are using the parking lot as a bypass. This increased traffic poses a very real danger to our patients, many of whom are elderly and children.

Periodically North Shore Health will be posting staff with cones, checking drivers to confirm they are conducting hospital or clinic business. Please follow the posted detours as requested by the highway department in order to maintain safety in the hospital/clinic parking lot.
