Activities being held the week of August 20 - August 27 at Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center.
Sunday, August 20 - Mark Morgen; Building the Wood Canvas Canoe from 2:00 – 3:00 pm
Tuesday, August 22 – Kids' Day Activities from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Children age 18 and under have free admission to the Museum.
Last Kids' Day for the season
Sunday, August 27 – Sherry Abts, The Ely Loon Ranger from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Don't forget the Old Fashioned Pie and Ice Cream Social event on Sunday, September 3rd from noon - 4 pm. Bring your appetite for PIE!!

All presentations are family-friendly
Chik-Wauk Museum & Interpretive Cabin is open from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Nature Center is open from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, and Watercraft Building is open 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Admission charge $6/adult, $3/children 5 – 18 under 5 are free. Discounts for Senior Citizens and the Military. Free admission for anyone with a Gunflint Trail Historical Society membership.
Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center is located off the Gunflint Trail (Hwy12) turn right onto Moose Pond Drive (Cty Rd 81).
