The National Park Service is seeking public comment on some proposed changes to the wilderness experience at Isle Royale National Park.

The park service recently released a draft environmental impact statement for a proposed new wilderness stewardship plan at the park, which would include a range of potential changes to managing the park’s wilderness and cultural resources. A public comment period is currently open through September 26 to gauge interest in the proposals.
