Aug 13, 2023 08:18AM ● By Editor

National Weather Service - Duluth - August 13, 2023

A period of breezy northeast winds over Western Lake Superior will lead to hazardous conditions for small craft today and Monday. Winds of 15-25 knots and waves of 2 to 4 feet will be possible. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect from Two Harbors to Port Wing for Sunday afternoon.

Breezy northeast winds will produce a high risk of rip currents today for the beaches of Duluth and Superior, including the beaches of Park Point and Wisconsin Point. It is best to stay out of the high surf today!
