According to the National Weather Service - Duluth, most of Lake and Cook County in NE Minnesota is experiencing moderate drought.
Within the last 90 days, areas in Cook County have received 4-6 inches of rain, which is about 4-6 inches below normal. Normal precipitation for this time of year is 1/2 inch to 1 inch of rain each week.
