The Cook County West End Garden Club hosted a flower show on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the Waves of Superior Cafe in Tofte, MN. 35 club members presented various bouquets relating to the theme "Grandma's Attic" to a steady stream of visitors throughout the afternoon.

The event also included a booth from the UMN Master Gardener Extension Program representing Cook County's Master Gardeners, who were on hand to answer any gardening questions.

Ginny Storlie, the flower show chairman, said that attendance remained similar to previous years, even with the event moving to a new location.

Gail from UMN Extension reminded attendees of the USFS spruce budworm presentation at Cook County Higher Education on Tuesday, August 22nd at 12:30 pm.
