Fire Ecology and Forest Regeneration Week

Sunday, June 25 - 2:00 - 3:00 pm Evan Larson & Lane Johnson presentation "Reconsidering Fire in the BWCAW".

Tuesday, June 27 – The start of Kids' Day programs begin for the season.

Children age 18 and under have free admission to the Museum.

Kids’ Day is every Tuesday through August 22.

Wednesday, June 28 – USDA Forest Service Naturalist talk - 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm on the front porch of Chik-Wauk Museum.

Every Wednesday through August 23

 All presentations are family-friendly


Chik-Wauk Museum is open from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Nature Center is open from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, and Watercraft Building is open 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Admission charge $6/adult, $3/children 5 – 18 under 5 are free. Discounts for Senior Citizen's and the Military.

Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center is located off the Gunflint Trail (Hwy12) turn right onto Moose Pond Drive (Cty Rd 81).
