The staff at food site Tasting Table were tasked with identifying their favorite donuts in the United States – and a North Shore bakery was among their choices.

The powdered sugar cake donuts from the World's Best Donuts in Grand Marais was the selection of food writer Sarah O'Phelan, who is now based in Denver, Colorado but acknowledges she was brought up "partly" in Grand Marais.
