A Wisconsin wildlife group is blowing the whistle on a trend gaining popularity among birders: grape jelly feeders.
As REGI explains, grape jelly may serve as a convenient nutritional pick-me-up for certain birds, but "hummingbirds are so different than other birds" — as "almost everything about them from their feathers to their method of flight is different and in conflict with encountering sticky material."
