One block of E 5th St/CSAH 7 will be closed from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Monday, June 5th, the Cook County Highway Department announced.

East 5th St will be closed between 3rd and 4th Avenue E while a local contractor does private utility work. Individuals traveling on 5th St can detour around the closure by taking CSAH 10/Broadway Ave to Hwy 61 to CSAH 12/Gunflint or vice versa back to 5th St.
