An employee of the Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) in Moose Lake was severely beaten by a client Monday, according to authorities. 

A spokesperson with the Minnesota Department of Human Services confirmed the employee was airlifted to an advanced care hospital with serious injuries.
