As a reminder, if your business or organization has weather-related delays or cancellations with this winter storm (now upgraded to blizzard), feel free to send that information to [email protected] and we will gladly share that news with our viewers.
The Hub/Sr. Center, Arrowhead Transit, and Meals on Wheels
The Hub/Sr. Center and Arrowhead Transit will be closed due to inclement weather and unsafe road conditions. There will be no Meals on Wheels delivered today.
Shook Smoothies
Due to the blizzard, Shook is closed April 17. If the winds die down and visibility gets better, it will be open at noon.
Cook County
Due to the ongoing blizzard and unsafe travel conditions, the Courthouse and other County facilities will be closed to the public today. With significant additional snowfall and high winds expected throughout the day, it will be difficult for our plow operators to keep roads clear. We are concerned that conditions later today will be even worse than they are now and do not want to put anyone in harm’s way. Please avoid any unnecessary travel.
Oddz & Endz Closed Today
Safety first! For the safety of our volunteers and all our amazing customers, Oddz & Endz will be closed today. We will resume regular hours on Friday (10 AM - 4 PM)

Grand Marais Public Library will be closed today, Monday, April 17, due to severe weather conditions.
Cook County ISD 166
Cook County Schools is closed Monday, April 17th due to the winter storm and unsafe travel conditions. All school activities are canceled.
Book club POSTPONED to Tues April 18 at 5 PM
Due to the impending ice/snow storm, we're going to postpone our book club discussion of The Monk of Mokha by Dave Eggers this evening. Let's reconvene on Tuesday, April 18th at 5 pm, at Drury Lane Books! Stay cozy and safe tonight,
