Community Celebration and Fundraiser, presented by Cook County Pride

Cook County Pride is hosting a Community Celebration and Fundraiser on March 4, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. 

The Celebration will take place at the 4H Log Building next to Grand Marais Community Center - (317 W 5th St, Grand Marais, MN, 55604)

This is a free community event, open to all. Free Will donations will be accepted for all events and food provided.

Cook County Pride will also be taking signups for their "Pride 2023" t-shirts. All funds raised will be used to present our Community Rally in June.

The Community Celebration schedule is as follows:

  • 2:00 pm: Doors Open. Smoothie lunch served, sponsored by Shook Smoothies.
  • 3:00 pm: Drag Queen Story Hour, presented by That Queer Isa, sponsored by Grand Marais Public Library.
  • 4:00 pm: Community Social Hour. Gather with your neighbors for conversation, board games, and arts and crafts, (sponsored by *)
  • 5:30 pm: Presentation on The History of Pride, sponsored by Outfront MN.
  • 6:00 pm: Dinner served. Ramen and House Salad. Vegan and Gluten Free, sponsored by Angry Trout Cafe.
  • 7:30 pm: Queer Movie Night. The Birdcage, sponsored by First Congregational United Church.
