Minnesota law provides that Minnesota drivers aged 55+ receive a 10% insurance discount on each vehicle, where listed as principal driver, by taking an approved 8-hour Driver Safety course.
To maintain the discount, drivers take an approved 4-hour Refresher course every 3 years.
To maintain the discount, drivers take an approved 4-hour Refresher course every 3 years.
Any driver who has taken an approved Driver Safety course and has not taken a Refresher course for more than 3 years, only needs the 4-hour Refresher course to again receive the 10% discount.
