Viewers in the Northern Hemisphere should be able to see the comet in the pre-dawn morning skies as it moves toward the northwest throughout January. Just don’t expect it to look sharp like a star; its light will be somewhat diffuse and may appear like a “circular cloud,” Space.com says, with more brightness and density toward its center.
