In 2023, CCHE is facilitating training for a six-person cohort who will learn and network together while completing training toward certification. This training and tuition support of $720 is for Cook County, MN residents only. The Childbirth International birth doula ‘go green’ option is a 200-hour online, self-paced training that can be completed in 8-10 hours a week for 6 months or 4-5 hours a week for 12 months and will be supported by in-person cohort gatherings at CCHE.
A doula is a labor support companion trained and certified to support families during and around the time of birth.

You are a good fit if:
-You are passionate about encouraging safe and healthy birth.
-You are comfortable with all different kinds of people and environments.
-You have some level of flexibility and reliable transportation.
-You are able to remain calm in potentially stressful situations.
The last day to apply is January 5th, 2023, and applicants can expect a response by January 12th, 2023.
