The second public input meeting will be held for the current solicitation of the IIJA RAISE Grant for the Gunflint Trail Improvement Project at the Schaap Community Center from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023.

After the tremendous turnout from the first listening session this second session will focus on presenting the first draft of the proposed project. Maintaining the natural and historic qualities of the trail along with vehicular and pedestrian safety improvements were a few of the major items that rose to the surface of comments received during the first listening session.

A zoom option will be available again for those that cannot attend in person. The zoom link will be posted on the Cook County MN social media and website when that becomes available. For those that can’t make that date and time please email comments to [email protected] or call 218-387-3014.
