A barricaded suspect was arrested by the St. Louis County Emergency Response team after a three hour standoff Sunday night.

It happened on the 3600 of Mallard Drive around 6:30 p.m. on July 31st. It was reported that a man had made threats to kill his family after a domestic assault.

While Fond Du Lac police were responding, the suspect went into the residence and was seen loading a hunting rifle. He was eventually confirmed to be alone in the house and police closed down the perimeter of the home until he was apprehended.

After 3 hours, law enforcement was able to take the man into custody with no injuries reported.
